Imprinted concrete repair

We restore colour, texture and durability to imprinted concrete pavements without lifting the surface. Professional repair of cracks, flaking and traffic wear.

Imprinted concrete is one of the most widely used decorative pavements for porches, driveways, terraces and communal areas thanks to its cobblestone or natural-stone finish. Over time, sun, rain, vehicle traffic and cleaning products degrade its surface layer: cracks, flaking, colour loss and areas polished by traffic appear.

We repair imprinted concrete pavements without demolition, restoring the original pattern and colour in a quick intervention. We work for construction companies, residents' associations, property managers and private owners throughout Spain.

When your imprinted pavement needs repair

These are the most common symptoms we see in imprinted concrete pavements after several years of use. If you recognise any of them, there is still time to repair it before it gets worse:

Loss of colour and shine

The surface layer loses saturation and the pavement looks matt or "washed out". This is usually the first sign that the surface resin is no longer protecting it.

Flaking and chipping

Small patches of mortar break away from the pavement, exposing the base concrete. They appear in traffic areas, corners or near bollards.

Cracks and fissures

Fine fissures follow the imprint moulds or appear across them. If left unrepaired, water seeps in and accelerates deterioration.

Traffic wear

Areas where vehicles drive become polished, lose texture, look darker or show ingrained tyre marks.

Stains and efflorescence

White marks (salts), rust residue, organic matter or paint that conventional washing can no longer remove.

Eroded texture

The imprint pattern (cobblestone, paving, slate) has worn away over part of the surface and no longer stands out like the rest.

Our imprinted concrete repair system

It is not about painting over the pavement. We repair in three phases so the work lasts, does not flake again and keeps the original imprint texture.

Deep cleaning and preparation

We remove dust, paint residue, loose mortar and contaminants. We treat cracks and flaking to guarantee adhesion of the repair mortar.

Specific repair mortar

We apply a fine two-component mortar formulated for imprinted concrete, which fills flaking and levels the surface at thicknesses of 1 to 5 mm while respecting the original mould pattern.

Sealing and colour finish

We pigment with the original pavement colour (terracotta, ochre, grey, asphalt…) and seal with a resin that protects against UV, water and abrasion. The finish can be matt, satin or gloss.

Producto utilizado

We work with our own mortar: Reparcemt Impreso Bicomponente, a functional R1 mortar developed for fine aesthetic repairs on imprinted concrete, exposed concrete and precast elements.

Advantages of repairing vs. replacing the pavement

No demolition or rubble

There is no need to lift the existing pavement. We repair over the current surface, with no demolition waste.

60-80% lower cost

Repair costs a fraction of installing new imprinted concrete. Restore the value of your floor without spending as if it were new work.

Colour and texture restored

We match the colour and respect the original mould pattern. The repair blends in with the rest of the pavement.

In 2-4 days of work

For an average surface (50-150 m²) the full intervention is carried out in just a few days, depending on size and weather conditions.

Repaintable and maintainable

The repaired surface can be treated again: it can be repainted, resealed and maintained like a newly laid imprinted pavement.

Suitable for outdoors and indoors

Porches, driveways, ramps, terraces, courtyards, garages, commercial areas and communal walkways.

Preguntas frecuentes

Lo que necesitas saber antes de reparar

The price depends on the condition of the pavement, the m² and the colour chosen, but an indicative market range in Spain is between €20/m² and €30/m² for aesthetic repairs (preparation + mortar + resealing). One-off crack or flaking repairs are quoted per intervention. Request a no-obligation quote for your specific case.
Yes. The Reparcemt Impreso Bicomponente repair mortar allows thicknesses of 1 to 5 mm in a single pass and lets you build up the aesthetic layer without lifting the substrate. For deep flaking it is applied in several coats or combined with a prior structural R4 mortar.
The cracks are opened up into a V with a disc, cleaned out and filled with the repair mortar. A fine coat is then applied over the whole affected area to blend the repair with the imprint pattern, and it is sealed in colour so the repair is not visible.
No. The system is designed precisely to repair over the current pavement with no demolition, no waste and without affecting the surrounding areas. The difference compared with new work is huge: lower cost, less time and no rubble.
A correctly executed repair (preparation + mortar + colour sealing + protective resin) has a service life similar to that of a newly laid imprinted pavement: 8-12 years before needing the next resealing. Periodic maintenance (every 3-5 years, depending on use) extends that period.
In well-executed repairs, the repaired area blends in with the rest. We work with pigments in the exact colour of the original pavement and respect the mould pattern (cobblestone, paving, slate). In general repairs, the entire surface is treated to guarantee colour uniformity.
The optimal application temperature is between 8 °C and 30 °C. In Spain that allows work almost all year round except on frosty days or during heavy rain. It is best to avoid days of extreme heat (>30 °C), and there should be no rain or frost for 24 h after application.
Yes. Communal pavements (courtyards, driveways, garage ramps, parking areas) are one of our main use cases. We issue a detailed quote for the board and coordinate the work with the property manager.
